The Blizzard is the first signature model for CLYW team member Andrew Maider, one of the most talented and technically demanding players on the scene today. Andrew needed a yoyo that takes full advantage of the weight distribution benefits of stainless steel rims on an aluminum yoyo; something light, fast, and powerful that can meet the demands of this rising star. The Blizzard hits the mark on all accounts!
Designed by Andrew Maider and CLYW owner Chris Mikulin, the Blizzard has that organic, comfortable look and feel that CLYW is known for, with a refined and modern design aesthetic and top quality fit and finish. The Blizzard is a truly modern competition yoyo for players who need that extra edge on stage…or anyone who just wants a little more power from their everyday throw.

I have always enjoyed CLYW’s throws…..the Blizzard is quick, stable, long spinning, and as smooth on the string as any I’ve tried to date. Since 20012 it seems all CLYW throws have gone thru a change….the standard vibe that began with the Peak…..no longer applies to CLYW….from the Arctic Circle 2nd expedition to the Borealis to the Scout and now the Blizzard are of the smoothest out-of-the-box throws I’ve purchased. Its much lighter and floats thru the air on different tricks and trick segments…
