This model is based on the vision that was the last Anti-Yo.
In the mid to late 2000’s, the last fabled Anti-Yo was planned for release, but despite the few prototypes getting gobbled up during presale, making it nearly impossible to get ahold of, the production model never came to be… until now.
Working with the original designer, Sonny Patrick, onedrop has brought that vision back, crystallized with onedrop’s know-how. The name “Küntosh” is based on the French pronunciation of the Lamborghini Countach, an angular sports car that was popular from the 1970’s to the 1990’s.
Like the Format:C and Terrarian, Küntosh has a bump-less low edge, blasting right into its step-straight profile. The thick rim flattens out almost completely, so even at over 45mm wide, Küntosh has plenty of power. Compatible with side effects, you can easily change both the weight and the weight distribution of the yo-yo, giving Küntosh a very customizable playfeel, but there’s no doubt that it has a stout, stable feeling compared to other full sized throws.
The standard colorways are half-colors, but there are also special colorways available such as splash coloring. The standard colorway has linework of the Countach etched on it, either the front, mid-section, or rear section of the car.
Over ten years in the making, it took the collaboration of Sonny and onedrop to bring the story of Anti-Yo full circle, and will surely become a celebrated edition to the onedrop lineup. Finally, this piece of yo-yo history can be yours!
