The Magic YoYo Dark Sprite is Magic YoYo’s first entry into the plastic market at an incredible price, the Dark Sprite not only has great balance, precision and weight distribution it also GLOWS IN THE DARK! It’s body is constructed of Delrin with a machined inner aluminum weight ring to put the weight in just the right spot. The edges of each dark sprite are sanded down for silky smooth grinds that will glide like butter.

    For the money, this is a 5-star yo-yo. It plays GREAT for the price, even if you ignore the fact that it glows in the dark. Awesome value. The edges are blasted somehow and it even grinds well. I love mine.

    When I bought this yoyo for under $30 dollar, I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting a perfect product. Maybe a little bit of vibe, some minor manufacturing flaws, the kind of things you’d expect for this kind of money. Let me simply say I was wrong.

    For those of you who care about vibe, this yoyo is literally the smoothest I own. I can’t guarantee ever single one is like it, but this one is a smooth as glass without so much as a hair’s breadth of vibe, even after hitting a hardwood floor.

    As far as play goes, it can handle everything. It has a good string presence but still feels somewhat light and agile. It’s a great all around player.

    As far as looks, this probably takes the cake in my collection. I got the clear with aqua rings. Now, clear delrin is something you’re not going to stumble upon much right now, and on top of that is just looks REALLY cool. Pretty awesome being able to see your finger through the yoyo when you’re grinding. I also just like the way the material catches the light, plus it looks a little different in each place it is. As far as the rings go, the ano was clean bright and really caught the light well. The only flaw I could find with the whole yoyo was a couple of miniscule ano flaws on one of the rings (I’m actually surprised I even noticed them). The engravings were simply superb.

    Simply put, this is not a fantastic yoyo for the price, it’s a fantastic yoyo period, no compromises. I will certainly be buying more Magicyoyo products.
