Buddha string is extremely similar to blueprint, but even better! It’s a lot softer than blue print string and holds tension a lot better. It whips and slacks similar to nylon string, but feels really soft when broken in. The string breaks in quite easily and lasts quite a while after that, holds it’s tension as if it were a fresh string. Just try this string once and you’ll never wanna use anything again.

Buddha string is the hype now! It can really keep its tension and slacks are no problem. Last for an extremely long time and a great and affordable string to you. Definitely recommend this string for any style of play from the beginners to the most advanced players.

I really like the string but, it is simply too short. I really wish it came a little longer than kitty and then I could shorten it instead it comes very short out of the box not allowing for much customization. Remember if you buy longer you can always shorten it but if you buy short you can never make it longer

This sting is very good, holds tension for quite some time and it feels brand new for the longest time. although the length is not customizable, meaning you cant change the length of the string. otherwise, well done!

Awesome string for a great price has the feel of kitty fat string but very durable , only problem is that it’s a bit short but still an awesome product

I’ve been using these strings for a while now. They’re very slacky and they hold their tension really well. The fact that it’s a couple dollars cheaper than Kitty is a bonus.
The only real issue I have with these strings is that they’re too short. If they were closer to 115cm, it would be perfect. Buddha Poly XL perhaps?

The new restock strings are longer then the original pack I had, by a long shot.
If that deterred you in the past, it’s not a problem anymore.

This yoyo has a great price. Everything about this string is good but I found one con. This is coming from my point of view, for me the string didn’t snag when i tried to do more advanced binds.

First Impression:
I was not impressed with my first throw because the pre-cut slip-knot made the strings shorter than what I was used to, but it did not take me a while to get used to them. These strings are now my favorite string that I have ever tried. They feel similar to Kitty Fat when first thrown, but this break in more easily. By this, I mean that the usual “rougher” feel that new strings have goes away and they become a nice soft string until they wear out, which takes a while. These strings also maintain a good string tension for longer than most other strings I have tried. Overall, my first impression was a good one.
Second Impression:
After one week of throwing Buddha Poly, I am still using the first strings. Being able to use these strings for a week or more is extremely important to me for a good string. Buddha Poly strings do just that. By this time, however, they are beginning to lose their tension faster and signs for wear start happening. The strings are still usable at this time, but a change is coming.
Third Impression:
I have been throwing Buddha Poly strings for about a month now and have gone through about five or six of them (using multiple at a time). They last about a week and a half with constant play, which is definitely respectable. After the week-and-a-half is up, they are definitely worn out and need to be changed.
After my first month with Buddha Poly strings, I know I will be coming back for more when I run out. These strings are great and I am so glad I went ahead and tried them out. JD has done a great job with these. The price for 100 strings is only $16 plus the YoyoBestBuy Free Shipping option putting these strings as the best in the market for that price range, in my opinion.
Conclusion:
With this review, I hope people who have not heard of the lesser-known Buddha strings will try some of these out. They are certainly worth the money. I highly recommend these strings to any players, especially those who have a low budget for buying string.

I’ve tried TONS of strings in the past. Kitty String, BluePrint, Ammo, etc. etc. I was never quite satisfied with any of them. While shopping for bearings here, I stumbled upon Buddha Poly. I decided to get Yellow Thunder, Green Crack, and Orange Crush. When they arrived, I was amazed at how vibrant the colors are, especially the orange strings! They play better than BluePrint, with the same soft feel as Kitty String Nylon when broken in. Not only does this cut down on string burn, but it allows you to play with more comfort. WOW, this string is simply one of the best kind of string I have used. This string is soft and the tension holds really well. The only thing I might have a complaint about is how little it lasts and i found myself needing to replace it more often than with kitty but there are a lot of good things about it that outweighs the bad things. I heard some people say the string is shorter than other types of string but if it’s stretched out it adds a good amount of length. Overall the quality you get for this price is a great value but when it comes to string it’s mostly your own preference therefore in my own opinion this is some great string!
