The performance of the Triad is just unreal. It hasn’t been called “the plastic version of the Draupnir” for no reason. It only weighs 66g, yet it’s as stable as a metal thanks to the metal rings.
It’s also dead smooth – hardly any vibe. Expect nothing less from Yoyorecreation.
It’s worth noting that the center of the yo-yo has a hump where the axle is, so horizontal finger grinds proved to be quite a challenge on this yo-yo. Nevertheless, they are still possible, just difficult.
While the price seems a little steep for a hybrid, it’s leagues ahead of the Phenomizm, which is only $10 less. Totally worth it.
